Here at Calvary Chapel, our vision is to be a family that links faith in Jesus Christ from generation to generation! We’re excited to welcome your child into the next phase of Calvary’s Kids—Kindergarten through fifth grade—and we’re honored to partner with you in teaching and sharing God’s Word each week.
Calvary's Kids K - 5 is coordinated by Bailey Glor.
K-5 Sunday School classrooms are located on the second level of the children’s ministry building.
Each week, students engage with Bible-centered curriculum thoughtfully designed to match their cognitive and spiritual development, helping them grow in understanding and faith.

God has given us His Word to reveal Himself, and that truth fuels our passion for diving into Scripture each week. Though the night’s structure may vary for special events, summer units, or periodic variations, students can expect this general schedule:
Students may arrive to Calvary’s Kids as early as 6:30. Students can enjoy some free time of play and activities under the supervision of church volunteers in the Calvary’s Kids all purpose room.
Beginning at 7:00 pm, all students (Kindergarten through 5th grades) enjoy a time of worship, practice memory verses, and hear a brief message and Bible story together.
Students gather in small groups of five or six with an adult leader who guides them in exploring and reading key Bible passages from the evening's lesson. By mixing ages, older students have the opportunity to support and encourage younger ones, fostering shared discovery and deeper engagement with God's Word.
Students are then divided into age groups with tailored lessons and activities that build on the night’s story focus and deepen Bible knowledge and skills.
Kindergarten - 1st Grade
Concrete & Crafty - Kindergarten and first grade students focus on learning the facts of the story as they get creative and have fun with crafts.
2nd - 3rd Grade
Application & Interaction - Second and third grade students build on the facts and discover how we are called to respond to God's word through interactive activities.
4th - 5th Grade
Connection & Exploration - Fourth and fifth grade students explore how the Bible is one big story that points to Jesus and teaches us how to respond. They discover connections between the old and new testament and see the message of Salvation in each story.
A volunteer will welcome you in the Calvary’s Kids foyer and collect any necessary information to care for your child, including emergency contacts and medical or allergy information. Each child will receive a name tag, and parents will be given a sticker that serves as a required pick-up ticket.
At 8:00, parents or guardians must present this sticker to the foyer volunteer; anyone without it must be listed on the authorized pick-up list.
What to expect:
Children’s Choir is offered twice a year during Sunday night services—once in the fall to prepare for a Christmas performance and again in early spring for an Easter special. Led by Betsy Earls, Martha Hamilton, and April Sweaney, students engage in songs, activities, and crafts that joyfully highlight the message of salvation and the true reason for celebration.
